The Distribution Committee of the Cuno Foundation honored its long-time member, Kenneth W. Mango, at its April meeting. Mr. Mango served on the Committee for over 35 years. The Committee is comprised of seven members who serve for a term of seven years, appointed by various entities. Mango served by appointment of the City of Meriden Mayor, who did not renew Mango’s term.
Eliot White, Chairman, presented a Certificate of Appreciation for 35 years of faithful service and to provide recognition that a room will be named in his honor at Gaylord Hospital/Gaylord Specialty Healthcare. The Cuno Foundation recently awarded Gaylord a 3-year, 75,000 grant for patient room updates and upgrades. A room will be named in honor of Mango for his many years of committed service to Gaylord Hospital and to Meriden and surrounding communities.
